Paul Tarbox – Richmond Buyer’s Agent
Paul Tarbox, principal broker, was born and raised on the South Carolina coast. In 1986, he was transferred to Richmond to head a banking regulation field office of the United States Treasury Department. The experience of relocating to a new city was the catalyst for opening as an exclusive buyer agency. The agent working with Tarbox on the move was a true seller’s agent; she showed homes that were completely wrong for the young family moving to Richmond, but were in-house listings she needed to sell. The move was a negative experience for sure and as a result, Buyer’s Benchmark Realty was opened in 1995.
Paul is married with three children and recently moved to his fourth home in Richmond. A full time agent for more than 30 years, Paul Tarbox has a wealth of experience in resale homes and new construction and is well tuned to listen to what your needs and desires are and to search out the best match for you and negotiate the best terms and conditions for its purchase. In 2013, Paul was joined by his son Andrew and the Tarbox team was formed. Andrew has more than ten years experience.
